The short version

Notcha runs on your Mac. We don't have accounts, we don't track you, and the app doesn't send your personal data to us.

What the app accesses, and why

• Spotify (Automation permission): to show what's playing and control playback. Album artwork is downloaded from Spotify's image servers.
• Calendar (read-only): to show upcoming events and Join links. Events never leave your Mac.
• Camera: only while the Mirror tab is open. Nothing is recorded or saved.
• Clipboard history: kept in memory only and cleared when you quit. Copies marked private by password managers are skipped.
• Notes and settings: stored locally on your Mac.

Website and waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address only to tell you about Notcha's launch and updates. You can ask us to delete it at any time by emailing hello@getnotcha.com.

Purchases

Payments are handled by our payment provider, which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your full card number.
